General Definitions, Terms & Conditions: Program: “Into that heaven of freedom”, hereinafter referred to as Freedom Quiz or Program, is an Online Quiz and a subsequent interactive talent search session with the shortlisted candidates on digital platforms Syllabus: The Freedom Quiz will be based on the following topics: Formation of Indian national congress; Bengal partition; Rise of Gandhi; Khilafat and Non-Cooperation Movement; Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose and their contributions to freedom struggle; Politics of separatism; Partition and Independence. Schedule: The program is being launched on Oct 2, 2021. Grand Finale will be on Nov 14, 2021. There can be interactive sessions in between, conducted with prior intimation. Eligibility: Any student doing school class/year 08 – year 12 or high school/ matriculation equivalent from any part of the world Registration: Prior online registration is mandatory. Nominations can be submitted from Principals/ Authorised Faculty of schools and Social Service organisations. No limit to the number of participants from a School. This will not be a team event; each participant will contest individually. Fee: Rs 50 upon selection; to be paid as per the payment instructions communicated at that time Communication: Registered participants will be intimated thru Email/ Whatsapp, at each phase of the competition, with instructions. Participant’s acknowledgement is solicited to proceed further.Withdrawal: A registered participant can withdraw from the competition by sending a request in writingJudging Committee: The judging committee comprises of eminent scholars and experts who shall have final authority to declare the winners. Their decision shall be final and binding on the participants.Other Terms and ConditionsSince Freedom Quiz is conducted Online Live, your experience will be determined by the stability of Internet Services / Bandwidth at your base location. Good WIFI connection is necessary as this requires continuous data transfers between servers and Participating Devices. When the program goes live / starts – it will need to continue its course. The Organizers cannot / will not entertain any requests via any medium to re-run questions. If the program gets interrupted due to Force majeure, at the Hosting Location, an alternate date and time will be communicated to all participants. The Organizers cannot be held responsible for the possibility of selective programme outage at specific geographical locations – if it happens due to technical issues not originating at the Host Location. In any event, if the program is cancelled even after rescheduling to another date, organisers’ liability will be limited to the complete refund of the entry fee paid by each participant.
