Guidelines:

1. Registrations open from 23 July – 5 August , 2020

2. Registration through the given form only

3. Registration charges per participant is INR 100 (non-refundable)

4. A preliminary round would take place on 7 August, 2020

Rules for the prelims:

A. You will be provided with a topic (a prompt on which you have to speak) on the 7th of August at 12 noon. You are free to interpret it as you want to. You have to make a video of yourself speaking on the topic.

B. You will have until 8pm on the 7th, to submit your entry. The details of the submission will be provided with the topic.

C. Time limit is 90 seconds. You have to send your video to an email address provided with the topic.

D. 20 people will qualify for the finals after this. The list of qualifiers will be uploaded on the 8th of August at 8 PM.

E. These finalists will then participate on the 9th of August.

5. Selected Participants from the Preliminary Round will be participating in the extempore on 9 August, 2020 which will take place on Google Hangout/ Meet

6. Joining Link to selected participants will be mailed on the day of the session.

7. Each participant will be given 3 minutes to speak on the given topic.

8. The medium of the speech can be in Hindi, English and Bangla languages

9. Three winners will be chosen from the final round on 9 August.

10 .Winners will be declared on 10 August , 2020

11. The decision of the judge/s stand paramount

12. All participants will be awarded e-certificates post declaration of winners

13. Winners will be sent Discount Codes from Oxford Bookstore for purchasing books from oxfordbookstore.com

14. Should a candidate not be able to join the session/s due to technical problem or others, Oxford Bookstore and Quarantine Stories shall not be responsible for the same.
