About Poster Making Contest on “Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana”-(PMBJP)

With an objective of making quality generic medicines available at affordable prices to all, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) was launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. Under this scheme, dedicated outlets known as Janaushadhi Kendras are opened to provide generic medicines.

In light of “Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2022”, Department of Pharmaceuticals would like to offer a warm welcome to all the budding artists to participate in this Poster-Making competition and use your creative minds to create art that inspires. So, pick up your art supplies, turn on your graphic tablets and create breathtaking posters on the theme!

We welcome entries in the form of digital submissions, hand-drawn sketches, paintings with any medium, and illustrations.

The themes for making the poster are:

1. “Jan Aushadhi – Jan Upyogi” जन औषधि जन उपयोगी
2. “Uttam Dawai Kam Daam – Swasth Bharat Ki Pahchan” उत्तम दवाई कम दाम – स्वस्थ भारत की पहचान

AWARDS

Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), the implementing agency of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) will award to all winners with cash prize of Rs. 5000/- (1st), Rs. 3000/- (2nd) and Rs. 1500/- (3rd) along with participation certificate.

1. Call for entries – 4th February, 2022
2. Last day for submission of entries – 20 February 2022

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

1. Impact and relevance to theme
2. Ability to stand alone- The poster should be able to stand alone as a clear communication of the theme prescribed
3. Overall Visual appeal
4. Legibility
5. Quality of graphic
6. Only English or Hindi language may be used, if required
