About Veolia Foundation  – Student Solidarity Awards

Young people, especially students, show a strong capacity for engagement. Created in conjunction with the Human Resources Department, the Student Solidarity Prize rewards innovative projects initiated by higher education student associations in connection with the Foundation’s main areas of action.

This year in particular, Veolia wishes to continue promoting projects of general interest through the Student Solidarity Award and its 2020 edition.

Faced with the current international situation, we want to encourage the tremendous wave of solidarity projects linked to Covid-19 or its consequences to develop. To this end, we have decided to adapt the organization of the Student Solidarity Award in an exceptional way in order to best support you in the pursuit of your projects.

This year it will not be necessary for the project to start after the Awards Ceremony in order to be eligible. It seems to us that the solidarity projects which are currently emerging in France and abroad and which provide responses adapted to the urgency of the situation must be supported. All association projects with at least one student already initiated or starting by June can thus compete for the Student Solidarity Award.
