Applications are invited for one JRF in a DST project on “Expression of glial specific genes and their role in development and aging of the brain of mice” JRF should have a consistently good career with 55% Marks in M.Sc., in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, with specialization in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. He/She should have cleared NET/GATE. Maximum age limit for JRF is 28 yrs. Age limit is relaxable for female and SC/ST candidates by 5 yrs . SC/ST candidates will be given preference as per govt.of India rules.

The Fellowship amount is Rs.8000/- p.m.. The post is temporary and is co-terminus with project. Applicants should send their biodata with photocopies of mark-sheets/certificates and names of two referees within 4 weeks of this publication to Prof.M.S.Kanungo, Zoology Department, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221 005. No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.
