Applications are invited for admission to the B.Ed. Programme through School of Distance Education for the year 2010-11

(Approved by Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore)

Eligibility:

* Teachers serving in recognized schools with a minimum of two years of teaching experience are eligible for admission to the programme

* UG or PG in any one of the following subjects: (Tamil, English, History, Geography.Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science.) P.G. – Economics, Commerce, Home Science both U.G. and P.G. must be in the same subject. For further details, referthe website www.b-u.ac.in..

MODE OF SELECTION – BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE IN THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND TAMIL NADU STATE GOVERNMENT COMMUNAL RESERVATION NORMS.

DURATION : 2 YEARS

Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained in person or by post from 24-11-2008 on requisition with a cost of Rs. 500/- in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, School of Distance Education” and payable at Coimbatore and self-addressed stamped envelope to the value of Rs.50/-. Please note that cash payment will NOT BE ACCEPTED. The cost of application once paid will not be refunded. Candidates can also download the application form and other details from the website www.b-u.ac.in and submit the filled-in application with required fee of Rs.500/-.

Filled-in Application forms should be sent to The Director, School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641 046.

The envelope may be superscribed as “Application for B.Ed.”
