ADMISSION NOTICE FOR M.D(Ay.)/M.S(Ay.) Course-2005

The Banaras Hindu University will hold an all India written test for admission to M.D (Ay.)/M.S (Ay.) courses [ in the subjects Ayurveda Samhita, Basic Principles (Swasthavritta & Yoga and Sharir Rachana), Dravyaguna, Kayachikitsa (Chikitsa & Vikriti Vigyan), Kaumarbhritya, Prasuti Tantra (Stree Roga), Rasa Shastra, Shalya Tantra, Shalya (Sangya Haran)] on Sunday the 19 th June, 2005 at B.H.U., Varanasi.

ELIGIBILITY:

Qualification:

(a) BAMS recognized by CCIM

(b) MBBS recognized by MCI (for supernumerary category only).

(c) The candidate must have completed minimum 12 months rotating internship (4 ? years BAMS course) / 6 months House Job (5 years BAMS course) by 31.07.2005.

AGE: The Upper age limit for admission will be 35 years on 31.07.2005 (relaxable by five years for SC/ST and supernumerary candidates).

Application form along with the information brochure can be obtained by post from the office of the Director, IMS, BHU,Varanasi-221005 by sending a written request through the registered post along with a demand draft/Bankers Cheque of Rs.850/- drawn in favour of the Director, IMS, BHU, VARANASI, payable at Varanasi and two self addressed white paper slips/stickers of 6 cm x10 cm size. Moneyorder and cheque will not be accepted. The envelop should be clearly superscribe ?Application for M.D (Ay.) /M.S(Ay.) Entrance Test-2005, BHU. The last date for request for application form by post is 02.04.2005.

The application form can also be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 800/- from the Main Post Office of BHU (Near Kendriya Vidyalaya, BHU)- from 28.01.2005 to16.04.2005. The last date for submission of completed application is19.04.2005 and no forms will be accepted after the last date. The Institute will not be responsible for los of aplication form in transit.
