Admission to Para Medical Certificate Courses / D.M.L.T Course for 2007 2008 Session

Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed Higher Secondary course with Science subjects fro admission to the following Para Medical Certificate (1 Year) / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology courses (2 Years) for 2007 2008 session in Government Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu in the State of Tamil Nadu. The age of the candidate should be between 17 and 25 years.

1. Issue of Application Form with Prospectus:

The Application form with Prospectus for the following courses will be issued from the Government Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu on all working days from 18.06.2007 to 28.06.2007 up to 3.00 P.M.

Name of the Certificate Course / Diploma Course, No. of students intake and Ratio of Male and Female intake:

1. Emergency Care Technician 20

2. Respiratory Therapy Technician 20

3. Anaesthesia Technician 35

4. Theatre Technician 35

5. Orthopaedic Technician 35 (All Male)

6. Certified Radiological Assistant 10 (8:2) (General Service Candidate)

7. Diploma in Medical Lab. Technician 100

Application forms and Prospectus will not be issued from the Directorate of Medical Education and Office of the Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai 10.

2. The candidates / authorized persons can obtain the application with a written requisition to the Dean, Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu duly enclosing a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Dean, Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu towards the cost of application from with Prospectus. The Demand Draft should been issued by any one of the Nationalised Banks Only and dated Not earlier than 16.06.07. Postal Orders or Money Orders will not be accepted.

3. Separate Application Form for Para Medical Certificate and D.M.L.T Course. Details of the Courses and other conditions are mentioned in the Prospectus.

4. Cost of Application Form: Cost of Application Form for Para Medical Certificate and D.M.L.T. Course is Rs.200/-, SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of cost of application and Prospectus. They can obtain the application on written requisition duly enclosing an attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate issued by the appropriate Revenue authorities.

5. Last Date for the receipt of Application form:

Completed application from with all relevant enclosures should be sent to: The Dean, Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu up to 5.00 P.M. on 30.06.2007 either in person or by post.

6. Applications received after the prescribed date and time will not be considered under any circumferences.
