Notification – Admission into MBBS Course Common Entrane Examination – 2006

An Entrance Examination will be conducted at 1) Raja Muthiah Hall / Rani Meyyammai Hall , Dr. Ruckmani Lakshmipathi Salai, Egmore , Chennai and 2) PSG Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.

For candidates who seek admission into MBBS course at the above Private Medical Colleges in Tamil nadu, appearing for Entrance Examination is compulsory. The Admission is open to all citizens of India.

Application is common for both the Entrance Examination and admission intoMBBS course.

General Instructions :

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Botany & Zoology taken together and an aggregate of 140 out of 200 are eligible to apply. Issue of Application forms commences on : 21.06.2006

Last date for receipt of filled in Application Form : 05.07.2006

The Entrance Examination will be conducted on the date and time as shown below:

Paper I Biology ( Botany & Zoology) 15.07.2006 10.00 Am – 12.30 PM

Paper II – Physical Sciences ( Physics & Chemistry ) – 15.07.2006 2.00 PM – 4.30 PM

Applications can be obtained in person from either of the colleges by payment of Rs.1,000/- by cash or Demand Draft in favour of “The Secretary, The Tamil Nadu Private Medical Colleges Association” obtained on or after 21st June 2006
