Scholarships offered by Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Thailand for Academic Year 2026

15 Scholarships in total are being offered by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI). The no. of scholarships available for Indian candidates is 05 (Five).

Details of the scholarship are as follows:

Eligibility:

1. Under 30 years of age

2. Hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 (on 4 point scale) in one of the following fields:

a. Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences

b. Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology

c. Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

d. Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply

3. Candidates whose CGPA on 10 Point scale is 6.88 or above are eligible to apply.

Alternatively, candidates whose percentage in last qualifying exam is 68.8% and above are eligible to apply.

4. Have experience in scientific laboratory research

5. Must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one or two recognized test of language proficiency

(TOEFL/IELTS)

6. Must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

Fields of study:

1. Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental health
2. Environmental Toxicology
3. Chemical Sciences

Scholarship Coverage:

Scholarship will cover tuition fee and other academic fees, round trip airfare, visa fee, first settlement allowance, relocation allowance, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance and others

Award Period:

The scholarship award will cover 6 weeks refresher courses and follow by a period of 2 years Master’s Degree study, subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress. Refresher courses will tentatively commence in June 2024 while the academic program will commence in August 2024.

Application Procedure:

Candidates must first submit an online application on the Ministry of Education’s SAKSHAT Portal: (https://proposal-sakshat.samarth.edu.in/). Candidates who are nominated by this Ministry would be informed by email and would be requested to send their application dossiers to the Ministry so that same may be forwarded to CGI. The application window to apply on SAKSHAT Portal is 20 August 2025 to 15 September 2025
