About the Institution

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), was established in 1980 with affiliation to Kakatiya University and it became Autonomous Institution under Kakatiya University in the year 2014. It has attracted academicians of proven competence onto its faculty, placed its products in reputed organizations all over the World and gained recognition amongst academic circles. The Institute aims to prepare the students for meeting the challenges of the growing and changing needs of industry through delivering high quality technical education blended with training and research. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), accredited by NAAC „A‟ Grade with a CGPA of 3.21, ranked 180 by MHRD in NIRF – 2019 and all the UG Engineering programmes are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The institute is located 13 Kms and 20 Kms from Kazipet junction and Warangal respectively, on Warangal – Karimnagar highway.

About the ECE Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2000 with the intake of 45 and presently running with the intake of 180. During academic year 2019-20, the department started offering a new UG program in ECI with an intake of 60. The department also offers one PG course M.Tech (Digital Communications) with an intake of 25. The department was accredited by NBA for the first time in 2008 and subsequently got re-accredited in 2014, 2016 and 2018.The department is funded by DST-SERB with the amount of 41.36 lakhs on project titled “Design and Development of Printed Micro Strip Patch Antenna for LTE and GPS Applications”.

About Conference

The objective of this Scopus indexed International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Technology (ICDECT) 2020 is to present a unified platform for advanced and multi-disciplinary research towards design of smart computing, information systems, electronic systems. The theme focuses on various innovation paradigms in system knowledge, intelligence and sustainability that may be applied to provide realistic solution to variegated problems in society, environment and industries. The scope is also extended towards deployment of emerging computational and knowledge transfer approaches, optimizing solutions in a variety of disciplines of computer science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering,Electronics and Instrumentation. The conference proceedings aim to publish unpublished work pertaining to the topics mentioned below. The conference is scheduled to be held on June 26 & 27, 2020 at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITSW), Warangal, Telangana, India

The conference mainly focuses to offer a real opportunity to bring together scientists of different disciplines, to discuss new issues, to tackle complex problems and to find advanced solutions breeding new trends in Computational Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation. Conference will also provide a platform for research community and industry to share the recent developments, and to discuss about the discoveries in computational intelligence and informatics. 3rd International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Technology (ICDECT-2K19), held at Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Hyderabad, from 15 to 16 March 2019. It features advanced, multidisciplinary research towards the design of smart computing, information systems, and electronic systems. It also focuses on various innovation paradigms in system knowledge
