About the Mechanical Engineering Department

 

 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1959 and now celebrating Diamond Jubilee in this year. The Department offers B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 140 students, seven M.Tech programmes (Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Machine Design, Automobile Engineering, Material System and Engineering Design, and Additive Manufacturing)and Ph.D programs. Currently, the Department has 48 faculty members with different research expertise. The Department has good research  facilities for both experimental as well as simulation based research.

 

About the Institute and Warangal

 

National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW) formerly known as RECW is the first among seventeen RECs set up in 1959. In the last year the Institute has also celebrated the Diamond Jubilee. Over the years, the Institute has established itself as a premier Institution in imparting technical education of a very high standard,leading to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes in various specializations of Science and Engineering streams. Warangal is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage. It is situated at a distance of 140 km from Hyderabad. Warangal is well connected by rail and road. National Institute of Technology, Warangal campus is 2 km away from Kazipet railway station and 12 km away from Warangal railway station. Themes of ICRESM2020:
The conference focuses on the exploring, harvesting, harnessing and management of renewable energies. It aims to bring academia, industry and research organizations on a common platform to interact, exchange, and to build a strong network towards the sustained energy security. About Warangal:

 

Warangal is the second largest city of the state of Telangana. It is situated at a distance of 140 km from the state capital Hyderabad (Nearest Airport). It is well connected by Rail (Kazipet Junction is two km away and Warangal Station is 12 km away) and by Road (NH 202).Warangal is renowned for its rich historical and cultural heritage. It was the seat of erstwhile Kakatiya dynasty. Call for abstracts:

 

Authors should submit an abstract of an original, unpublished paper not exceeding 300 words excluding
figures or tables. The abstract format can be downloaded from the conference website. The abstract must be submitted online by sending e-mail to icresm2020@gmail.com. Last date for submission of
abstract is 31st April 2020.

 

 

Proceedings:

 

 

All the abstracts accepted from registered participants will be published in the conference proceeding with ISBN number. Papers presented at RESM 2020 will be published in SCI, Scopus indexed and UGC approved iManager Journals after peer reviewing process. The journal format for manuscripts can be downloaded from the conference/ journal websites Note: Papers selected for publication in SCI / Scopus index journals may need to pay processing charges.

 

Accommodation:

 

Limited accommodation is available only for students inside the institute Hostels. However, all other outstation participants should book their accommodation on their own. List of nearby Hotels and their tariff will be updated on the conference website:
