Cranfield University Scholarships For Indian Students

1. Commonwealth Shared Scholarship

 

 

Students from developing countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK can apply for Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for Master’s study, jointly supported by Cranfield University.

 

 

Eligible Course:

 

 

* Advanced Mechanical Engineering MSc

 

* International Defence and Security MSc

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

 

To apply for these scholarships, you must:

 

* Be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person

 

* Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country

 

* Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2017

 

* By August 2017, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard

 

* Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country

 

* Be unable, either yourself or through your family, to pay to study in the UK

 

 

How to Apply:

 

 

There are two steps to applying for the scholarship, you can do these simultaneously.

 

The first is to apply for admission to Cranfield University. You must indicate in the ‘funding’ section of you application for admission that you wish to be nominated for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. In 2017 there are two courses at Cranfield included in the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme. These are MSc International Defence and Security and MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering.

 

The second step is to apply using the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission’s Electronic Application System (EAS). Click here for full information on how to use the EAS, including detailed guides. All applications must be submitted by 23.59 (BST) on 29 March 2017 at the latest.

2. GREAT Cranfield University Scholarship India 2017

 

The GREAT Cranfield University Scholarship India 2017 is jointly funded by Cranfield University and the British Council. Five scholarships of 5,000 pound each for Indian students are available.

 

 

Eligible Courses:

 

 

The scholarship covers full-time MSc courses in:

 

* Water and Design

 

* Environment and Agrifood

 

* Energy and Power

 

 

How to Apply:

 

 

Applicants wishing to be considered for this Scholarship should be applying to a full-time Masters degree in an eligible course and indicate their interest in the ‘funding’ section of the online application form.

 

If you have already made an application for admission to Cranfield University please contact studentfunding@cranfield.ac.uk if you wish to be considered for the GREAT Scholarship India 2017. In your email please include your Cranfield Student ID number and the name of the course you will be studying.

3. Cranfield University International MSc Bursary

 

Cranfield University welcomes high calibre students from around the world, and in recognition of the valuable contribution that these students make we have developed a series of bursaries to help students to make their desire to study at Cranfield a reality. The International MSc Bursary is a contribution towards a student’s course fees of up to 5,000 pound

 

 

Eligible Courses:

 

 

The scholarship covers full-time MSc courses in:

 

* Water and Design

 

* Environment and Agrifood

 

* Energy and Power

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

International (countries outside of the EU) graduates with a first class honours or upper second-class honours undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or with relevant work experience.

 

 

How to Apply:

 

 

Applicants wishing to be considered for one of the International MSc Bursaries should indicate their interest on their course application form including which Water, Energy and Environment theme bursary they are interested in. International MSc Bursary includes courses in the Design Programme and Agrifood Programme.

 

If you have already made an application for admission to your course please send a short submission to your course admissions tutor, or, if you don’t have their contact details, please send to admissions@cranfield.ac.uk. The admissions team will forward submissions they receive to the relevant course admissions tutor. Please make sure you include your full name, Cranfield ID number, course name and that you wish to be considered for the International MSc Bursary.

4. Cranfield Global Manufacturing Leadership Masters Scholarship

 

These Cranfield Global Manufacturing Leadership(GML) scholarships, provided by the Cranfield University Manufacturing Department contributes towards the costs of study(tuition fee plus 1000 pound maintenance grant). Awards are made for a maximum duration of one calendar year for full time study.

 

 

Eligible Courses:

 

 

The scholarship covers full-time MSc courses in:

 

* Water and Design

 

* Environment and Agrifood

 

* Energy and Power

 

 

Eligibility Criteria
