CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory

The CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Regular Candidates: Ph.D. (Science): Candidates holding a Master’s degree in Chemical / Physical / Biological and related Sciences / Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or B.S (of 4 year duration) and having a valid National level research fellowship offer (JRF/SRF) of various funding agencies (CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, BINC, DST etc.) or other equivalent research fellowships.

Ph.D. (Engineering): Candidates holding a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering / Technology / related disciplines within the past two years with a valid GATE score or a research fellowship offer, a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering / Technology / related discipline with a valid National level research fellowship offer (JRF/SRF) of various funding agencies (CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, BINC, DST etc.) or other equivalent research fellowships.

Sponsored Candidates: Ph.D. (Science): Personnel from industry holding a Masters degree in Chemical / Physical / Biological and related Sciences.

Ph.D. (Engineering): Personnel from industry holding a Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering /Technology / related disciplines.
