ICIB, a constituent national laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has transformed itself from a Biochemical Research Laboratory to an epicenter of global Genomic Research. It plays a key role in the ares of Genomic and Integrative Biology through R&D partnership and collaborations with Medical Institutes, Universities and Industries. With the access to vast genetic pool and the expertise of best scientists, it is poised to shape the future of science.

On the occasion of Diamond Jubilee Year celebrations of CSIR, IGIB invites applications for CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Awards:

Your opportunity to :

* Work using stat-of-art R&D facilities

* Imbibe the spirit or R&D by interacting with leaders in scientific research

* Gain from knowledge & experience of accomplished scientists

* Develop capabilities in R&D related issues such as intellectual property management, marketing of knowledge, Business Development etc.,

* Gain training in transdisciplinary area of research.

Positions : Maximum of 22

Tenure : Maximum of 2 years (subject to perfoemance review every six months)

Eligibility : 1st Class or equivalent GPA in :

(a) Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy , OR

(b) Masters Degree in any branch of science, OR

(c) MBBS degree

Age Limit : 25 Years as on 30.05.2005 (Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST OBC Physically Handicapped & Female candidates)

Stipend : Rs.7,500/- per month

Leave : Upto 30 days in a year
