Anna University is proudly launching research fellowships in the name of our beloved leader Dr.C.N.Annadurai as “Anna Centenary Research Fellowships” in order to further intensify research in thrust areas and to carve a niche in the National and International arena. About 45 research fellowships will be awarded to Full-time research scholars every year admitted to Ph.D. programme . on merjt basis from January 2011 session onwards. Each fellowship will carry a monthly stipend of Rs.12,000/- and annual contingency grant of Rs.25,000/-. These research fellowships will be awarded for a maximum period of three years or till the submission of Thesis whichever is earlier.

Candidates who are interested to pursue Full-time research in various disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Planning, Science & Humanities and Management Sciences in Anna University for availing these fellowships need to apply in a separate application form prescribed in the website www.annauniv.edu/research along with necessary enclosures. Those scholars who have already registered for Ph.D. programme in Anna University can also apply for this fellowship.
