POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION

Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) is one of the leading institutes in India. BIHER is offering courses in Engineering, Dental, Nursing, Law, Pharmacy and Medical sciences in the UG, PG and Ph.D. level. The areas of excellence range from engineering and medicine to management and humanities. It is functioning in a sprawling area of 305 acres of land located in 6 Campuses both in Tamil Nadu and Pudhucherry with the state of the art infrastructure facilities. It provides plenty of opportunities for the young researchers through various research schemes.

Applications are invited for the Post-Doctoral Research position to carryout research on Synthesis of nanostructured materials, Nanostructured thin films, Polymers and coatings for the Environmental/Bio applications.

Eligibility: Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Nanoscience and Technology/ Biotechnology/Environmental Science.

Those, who have already submitted the thesis can also apply.

PhD Degree Holders are eligible to apply within 3 years after completion of their PhD.

We prefer the candidates with research interests and with the proven record in terms of good publication in SCI/SCIE/WoS indexed journals.

The candidate must have the ability to work independently, while integrating effectively into a teaming environment.

Applicants with good experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials, polymers and thin films will be preferred

Interview: Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview based on their merits

Duration: 1 year and can be extended based on research output.

Fellowship: Attractive salary package will be provided for qualified candidate.
