About ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute PROJECT FELLOW

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruit of one PROJECT FELLOW, purely on temporary basis, for a period of one year or termination of the project, whichever is earlier, at this institute for a research project entitled “Radiation technology for quality improvement of tuber crops and management of its by products” funded by the Bhabha Atomic Rexsearch Centre (BARC), Mumbai.

Note: Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, the candidates are requested to send their application to respective Principle Investigators (PI) of project in the enclosed proforma along with self-attested scanned copy of the original documents latest by 31 st May 2021.

After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed about the details of interview (Date and Time) by email/mobile. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Qualification

Essential:

First class in M. Sc. Zoology/ Agriculture Entomology/ Nematology/ Plant Physiology

Desirable:

M. Phil/ Research experience in the relevant field

1. Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for Project Fellow (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

2. The above post is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project. Appointment will be yearly based on the progress and fund availability.

3. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointments at the Institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.

4. The candidates will have to send a copy of filled in application form duly signed as per the format annexed along with the self-attested scanned copies of the original documents from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and a recent photograph enclosed onto the scan application form. The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificate at the time of Interview.

5. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be interviewed.

6. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.

8. The decision of Competent Authority will be the final and binding in all respects.
