Applications are invited for one Research Associate-I position in the sponsored project “Design and Synthesis of Green Insensitive High Energy Density Materials with Fine-tuned Properties” by Dr. Srinivas Dharavath (Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur). The work involves synthesis of high energy density materials, oxidizers, energetic ionic liquids for defence and space applications.

The post is purely temporary, and is for the duration of 1 year, could be extended for two more years depending on the performance of the candidate.

Description of the Post: Research Associate-I

Essential Qualification: PhD

Desirable Experience: PhD with one year of research experience in synthetic organic chemistry, heterocyclic compounds.

Candidate having experience in working MOFs, COFs are also preferable.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 47,000/- + 16% HRA as per the institute norms per month for first two years and Rs. 49,000/- + 16% HRA as per the institute norms for third year.
