Applications are invited for the position “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” in the project title “Estimation of effective hydraulic properties of macropores in soils using surface soil moisture observations.”

Qualifications & Experience Essential

M.Tech in Civil Engineering (or) B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Civil/ Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering

Desirable

A good knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and hydrology. Candidates having experience in field experiments and having worked in sub-surface hydrology will be given preference.

Job Profile

The selected candidate will lead a team conducting field scale hydrological experiments and numerical modeling.

Salary Range : Rs. 31,000/-
