Preamble:

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is inviting applications for Late Dr. S. S. Nadkarni Fellowship. The Fellowship is in the memory of Late Shri. S. S. Nadkarni, a great finance professional and visionary. The Late Shri S.S. Nadkarni fellowship has been instituted at JBIMS. Fellowship is result of donation made by S K Birla Group and B K Jhawar Group. The fellowship is meant for Doctoral, Post-doctoral and project-based research/ publications in the areas of Finance and corporate management.

Qualification: Post Graduation in Management

Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in corporate/academics.

Role and Responsibility:

The fellow is supposed to undertake a project of relevance to organizations and corporations, economy of the country and culminate into a good quality research compendium. The publication in good quality journal is expected from the research activity. Working for quality research and support in Academic activities of the institute is expected from the fellow.

The fellow will report to The Director, JBIMS for all purposes.

Tenure of the post:

The tenure of the post will be for 1 (One) year, with review after every three months. To terminate the appointment from any side, a notice of one month is required

Remuneration: Consolidated Rs.35,000/- pm.

Review of the performance:

The fellow will make a presentation of the work done in front of the committee after every three months. The Recommendation of the expert committee will be considered for extension of the fellowship.

Termination:

To terminate the engagement from any side, a notice of one month is required.

The fellow is expected to have experience of research in management, should have awareness about the business environment and technology advancement, usage and impact. Fellow is expected to make the academic research reports, monographs and support the institute in various academic activities etc.
