About ONGC Foundation Fellowship and Internship

India has been known for its long and rich history of handicrafts. The crafts of India are diverse, rich in history, culture and religion. As part of India@75, ONGC is implementing projects for uplifting Handicraft across many states of India such as Rajasthan, Assam, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Odisha and Karnataka.The “Shilpvidya ki udaan ke sahyogi” Fellowship and Internship Program is providing a unique opportunity to young leader across India to work to address some of the most pressing challenges, and experience what ‘making change happen’ looks like in the field of Handicrafts. The fellows and interns will work to make the handicrafts a brand that can be taken up to the international market and support the organization in the actual fields. It is an opportunity for young enthusiastic and passionate students who are willing to work for society.

To glorify Indian art and craft, ONGC and ONGC Foundation step up to promote and help the artisans of 16 handicraft of India to sustain the legacy of our country’s rich art and craft heritage. ONGC Foundation currently implemented 6 Handicrafts projects across India and also going to launch 10 more projects in financial year 2022-23

For the effective implementation of Handicrafts projects on ground level and impactful results, it is necessary to have some supporting hands on the ground. This will not only act as a support to ONGC Foundation for reviewing the projects but will be help to understand the ground realities in their sector and provide them with better insights to overcome the challenges during projects
