Oxford Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (OIIR) offers academically ambitious high school students the opportunity to undertake bespoke, one-to-one research mentorship with academics from Oxford and other leading global universities. Through structured supervision, rigorous research training, and guided independent study, students produce a sole-authored research paper or project suitable for university applications and, in select cases, publication. Programmes are designed to develop advanced critical thinking, academic writing, and subject mastery across STEM, social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary fields, with select pathways offering UCAS recognition.
