Advertisement Notice for filling of consolidated position of 01 SRF (Vegetable and Animal Science) under the project “AICRP on Integrated Farming System” as detailed below:

Emoluments per month : Rs. 31000/- + HRA for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35000/- + HRA for 3rd year

Number of posts : 01, SRF (Vegetable Science)

Essential Qualification

Master degree in relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidate having Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, Om No. Agril.Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019

Terms and conditions:

– The position is temporary and contractual basis to be filled initially up to 31st March, 2023 and further extendable as per the performance of the candidate and approval by the funding agency. Theemolument to position advertised is as per the SFC provisions and existing guidelines of ICAR norms. The expenditure shall be met within the allocated budget for this financial year 2022-23 underthe sub head “Operational Charges”.

– The appointee has to serve AICRP on IFS, SKUAST-J.

– The appointee can be terminated by the University/Chief Scientist & Head of the project at any stage in case of unsatisfactory work and shortage of funds.

– The application should reach in the office of the Chief Scientist, FSR, Block No-03, Ist floor, FOA, SKUAST-J, Chatha alongwith self attested copies of the certificates on or before 15-11-2022. The engagement stands terminated on the completion of the project in this University. The eligible candidates will be interviewed at the office of the Director of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha on18-11-2022 at 11.00 AM. No separate intimation shall be issued and no TA/DA shall be paid forattending the interview.
