Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) to work in a CSIR-EMR-II sponsored research project titled “Development of Indigenous Retrofitted Smart Wireless Power Sharing Modules for Fast Recharging of Electric Vehicle/Taxi” under the supervision of Dr. R. Narayanamoorthi, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), India.

Position: Junior Research Fellow – 01 number

Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- per month for the first 2 years + Rs. 35000/- per month for the third year. (Excluding HRA).

Duration: 3 years (2023-2026)

Eligibility Criteria: BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test, M.Tech/ M.E in Electrical Engineering (Specialization in Power Electronics). Candidates with a GATE score is mandatory.

Desirable Experience: Candidates should have good knowledge in Power Electronics and hands on experience in developing and working on hardware prototype of the power electronic converters, PCB design software and basic knowledge in Microcontroller/ FPGA programming.

Remark: The selected candidate can/should also register for regular PhD program in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University).
