A walk-in-Interview will be held on 18/06/2019 at 10.30 AM in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Napaam,
Assam for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored Indo-Hungary International Collaborative research project entitled “Biochemicals And Biofuels From Lignocellulosic Biomass By Green Catalytic Processes” under Principal Investigator Dr. D. Deka, Professor, Department of Energy, Tezpur University.

Qualification: Master degree in Energy Technology with chemistry/chemical engineering background / Master degree in Chemical Engineering/ Post graduate in Chemical Science/Chemistry having CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.

Desirable: Candidate having experience in catalyst preparation and characterization, biofuel production via catalytic transformation of biomass will be preferred.

Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- only + HRA as admissible per month.

Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

N.B : (1) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer
/ Ph.D. Supervisor.

(3) Candidates appearing for the walk-in-interview should fill up the application in prescribed form enclosed
as Annexure-I.
