Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow position in a DST-SERB project entitled “Studies on the synthesis of the novel cyclic peptides Trapoxins A & B, FR- 225497 and their analogues” under the joint supervision of Professor Shital K Chattopadhyay and Or. Manoranjan Jana.

Essential Qualifications: M.sc. in Chemistry (Organic special) with at least 55% aggregate marks.

NET/GATE qualified students will be preferred. Candidates with strong interest in organic synthesis are encouraged to apply.

Age limit: As per DST rules

Duration: Initially for one year; extendable for two years.

Salary: Rs 25,000 pcm+ BRA 3750 (for two years); for SRF (3rd year): 28,000 + BRA 4200 (pcm)
