GD Goenka International Center (GDGIC) has been established to accelerate the internationalization efforts of the University, in terms of collaborating with foreign universities to facilitate international programs and also to provide guidance and assistance to foreign students on campus.

Eligibility Conditions for Admission

A. It is desirable that the applicants, who possess minimum prescribed qualifications for admission to PhD Programme, should have excellent academic/professional track record in the relevant discipline.

B. The applicant for part-time PhD should:

I. prove to the satisfaction of DRC that his official duties permit him to devote sufficient time to research.

II. ensure that facilities for pursuing research are available at his place of work in the chosen field of research, where required.

7 Time Period requirement for Submission of the PhD thesis

A. Minimum Time Period: The minimum period for submission of PhD thesis shall be 3 years from the date
of registration.

B. Maximum Period:

The maximum period for submission of PhD thesis shall be 6 years from the date of registration. Thereafter, the registration shall stand cancelled automatically unless, for valid reasons, the President of GDGU grants an extension. Fee (all disciplines) for year 2019-20

Admission Process, Date and Venue of Written Exam And Interview

Admission Process will be conducted on 20″ July, 2019 (Saturday) 09.30 hrs and the Admission Process shall consist of:

A. Entrance Test

B. Presentation on the proposed research before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC)

C. Interview

Venue for Entrance Test: B-Block, B-007, GDGU

The detailed admission process will be as follows:

A. Reporting & Registration 09.30 hrs to 10.15 hrs

B. B Entrance Test 10.30 hrs to 12.00 hrs

C. Presentation to DRC 14:00 hrs onwards

D. Interview 15.00 hrs onwards
