GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM – DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION Online application to avail mobility grant for the girl students

Applications are invited from the Girl students pursuing Post Graduate degree in 1st year or 2nd year as per Govt. O.M. No AHE.794/2019/31 dated Dispur the 8th August, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail this grant the following criteria must be fulfilled:

Post graduate

The girl students studying in Post Graduate 1st year or 2nd year during the year 2022. Only regular girl students studying in state universities and autonomous colleges can avail the grant.

Family Income

The family income of the applicant must be Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum

Active Bank Account

The girl student must have a active Bank Account in her name in nationalized bank

List of documents to be submitted

The following documents to be uploaded in PDF/JPG format

Income certificate

Latest income certificate of the parents/guardians issued by the competent authority of the State Governments.

Bank passbook

Readable photostat copy of 1st page Active Bank passbook of the applicant.

Identity proof

PAN card and AADHAR card of the applicant

Objective of the Scheme

The main objective of Mobility Grant to Post Graduate Girls are:

* To attract girl students of weaker section to continue higher education.
* Empowerment of women.
* To relieve the burden of parents.

Quantum of Grant and Mode of Payment

* Rs. 10,000/- per annum to each eligible girl students pursuing post graduate course.
* The amount will be credited in their bank account thriugh DBT mode.
