Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is a research-led teaching institution.

Applications are invited forthe session commencing from July 2012.

1. M.Tech. (CSE) with specialization in Information Security, Data Engineering, Mobile Computing

2. M.Tech. (ECE) with specialization in VLSI & Embedded Systems Salient features of the program are:

IIIT-Delhi has one of the largest groups among the academic institutions in the country in the areas of Information Security, Data Engineering, Mobile Computing, and VLSI & Embedded Systems.

Previous batch students have placement offers from companies including IBM Research-India, Microsoft, Infosys Labs, PayPal, Informatica, Citrix Online, Dubizzle andHCL

Some of the courses that students may take in Information Security specialization are: Digital & Cyber Forensics, Secure Coding, Network Security and Applied Cryptography.

Some of the courses that students may take in Data Engineering specialization are: Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Information Retrieval and Massive Data Analytics & Visualization.

Some of the courses that students may take in Mobile Computing specialization are: Mobile Computing, Embedded Systems and Mobile & Cellular Network Security.

Some of the courses that students may take in VLSI & Embedded Systems specialization are: VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Digital Hardware Design and Analog Design.

These are challenging programs with the main objective of developing manpower for high-end industry jobs and have been developed in consultation with some well-known national and multi-national corporations to ensure that students’ skill sets strategically align with industry needs.

Admission Procedure

Maximum of 10 seats per specialization may be filled using GATE score (Direct admission without test).

Written & programming test will be conducted on 16″ June 2012 (Saturday) for shortlisted candidates (without GATE score or GATE score less than a threshold) for the remaining seats. ‘

Sponsored candidates (form Government or Private Organizations) are eligible to apply. However, the Institute currently offers only a full-time option and no part-time option is available.
