IIITDM Kancheepuram is an Institute of National Importance established and fully funded by the Govt, of India. The Institute offers undergraduate, dual degree, post graduate and research programmes in Engineering Design and Manufacturing amalgamated with Information Technology.

IIITDM invites applications for admission to Ph.D programmes for Jan 2016 Session:

Ph.D Admission (under Institute HTRA/NHTRA)

Interdisciplinary research programmes leading to award of Ph. D are offered in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics.

Ph.D Admission (under Vivesvaraya Scheme)

Interdisciplinary research programmes leading to award of Ph.D are offered in Electronics Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/ITES Services.

Students interested in projects Sponsored by the University of Genova, Italy, in Mechanical / Electronics Stream can also apply.
