Applications arc invited for admission to 1-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). to be conducted at Giridih Branch of the Institute, from the candidates having 3-year Bachelors degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the Bachelor’s degree. Candidates who are due to complete the qualifying examinations before 01 July 2014 may also apply. There is no tuition fee for the course.

Selection of candidates is based on merit as judged by their performance in a written test and interview conducted by the Institute. Past academic record may also be taken into consideration. Due consideration is given to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates.

Application Procedure :

Candidates in India can download the Form and Prospectus from the official website http://www.isical.ac.in/~admission. Applicants should read carefully the instructions and Prospectus before filling in the application form. Filled-in form with a photograph of the candidate of appropriate size with a BANK DRAFT of appropriate amount (see Application Fee below) drawn in favour of “Indian Statistical Institute” payable at Kolkata should reach “Admission 2014, Dean of Studies, Indian Statistical Institute. 203, B. T. Road, Kolkata – 700 108” by April 15, 2014.

Application Fee : Rs. 500/- for the applicants in the general category, Rs. 250.00 for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC & Physically Challenged categories.

Incomplete/Improper Application Forms will be rejected. Copies of Mark sheet. Certificates etc. should not be attached with the application.
