RESEARCH PROPOSALS ARE INVITED FOR

(A) RESEARCH PROJECTS PROGRAMME AND

(B) RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS PROGRAMME

(A) ICSSR invites research proposals from the scholars (including North Eastern Region) to conduct Research Projects in different areas of social sciences for the year 2011-12. The proposals may belong to any one of the social science disciplines or may be interdisciplinary in nature. Social Scientists with a record of publications and known for their academic interests may submit their research proposals on any theme of their choice, with a significant social science content, in the prescribed format alongwith the requisite documents to Director (Research Projects Division) ICSSR, New Delhi.

(B) ICSSR also invites research proposals for Senior Fellowships/General Fellowships/Doctoral Fellowships (including North Eastern Regions) for the year 2011-12 falling under any one of the Social Science disciplines or interdisciplinary in nature. The research proposals with the necessary documents may be forwarded to the Deputy Director, (Research Fellowships Division) ICSSR, New Delhi.

The Scholars from certain social groups, such as scheduled caste/scheduled tribes, are required to indicate their category clearly in the bio data and specifically mention on the top of the research proposal: Research Proposal Under SC/ST category, accompanied with an attested copy of the SC/ST certificate in support of their claim,
