Invites Applications for the Academic Year 2012-13 for regular full-time degree programs (Affiliated with TNAU) B.TECH/M.TECH/Ph.D (Food Process Engineering)

B.TECH : A pass in higher secondary examination with eligible marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as given in prospectus Mode of Selection is based on aggregate marks as explained in prospectus*.

M.TECH & Ph.D : For M.Tech, Should have passed 4 years Bachelors degree, and for Ph.D should have passed 4 years Bachelors and a 2 years Masters degrees in disciplines like Food Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering (specialized in Agricultural Process Engineering for Ph.D.). Food Science and Technology with proven knowledge in Mathematics*.

A candidate who has undergone course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for Masters and Ph.D programs. However, for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient for all programs*.

* Hard copy application forms can be obtained from IICPT office at Thanjavur from 23rd April 2012 onwards during all working days between 09.30 am to 05.30 pm by paying appropriate application fee.

* Filled in application forms with appropriate application fee (for downloaded applications) should be submitted to the Director at the above mentioned address on or before 05.00 pm, 31.05.2012

* Application fee is Rs. 500/- for OC/OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates. DD should be drawn in favour of Director, IICPT, payable at Thanjavur.
