ADMISSION TO 2013-2015 MBA PROGRAMME

Vinod Gupta School of Management is the first B-school in the IIT system offering 2-year, 4-semester, full-time, residential MBA programme. The MBA curriculum of VGSOM is continually upgraded to meet the needs of the country. Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology or first class Master’s degree in Science, Economics or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level, to be eligible to apply to VGSOM. There is a relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. In addition, candidates’ score in CAT 2012 to be conducted by the IIMs, will be considered for admission to VGSOM for 2013-2015 MBA programme. VGSOM follows GOI norms on the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates and persons with disability. Finally, IIT Kharagpur is committed to ensure that a student’s financial resources do not become a constraint for pursuing MBA education at the school. Consequently, VGSOM has put in place a liberal financial aid programme for needy students.
