INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY – MBA ADMISSIONS 2012

The School of Maritime Management, Indian Maritime University invites applications for admission to its MBAProgrammes, The common entrance test (CET) is a prerequisite for a candidate to get admitted for the MBA programmes mentioned below. The CET for these programmes will be held on 8″ April 2012 at Chennai, Cochin, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Vishakhapatnam. The School, apart from its exclusive identity as a centre of specialist education, also has institutional collaboration with premier maritime institutions around the world, viz, Technical University, Delft, Netherlands; STC-NMU, Netherlands; Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK. The School also earns appreciation for placing all the students of 2009-11 batch successfully.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) : MBA in Port and Shipping Management at IMU Chennai and Cochin Campus. MBA in International Transportation and Logistics Management at IMU Chennai.

IMU-CET (MBA) Eligibility : The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, {45% in case candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) categories}, awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree and those who are awaiting for results can also apply. Prospective candidates must maintain a valid email account throughout the selection process.

Availability of IMU- CET (MBA)- 2012 Application Form

IMU-CET (MBA) application form and payment challan can be downloaded from the website www.imu.tn.nic.in and/or fromwww.imusmm.org The fee of Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/DA candidates) can be remitted using challan (SBI/ Indian Bank/Axis Bank) in the account number given in challan. Filled-in application form must be sent to “Admission Coordinator- MBA, Academic Section, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai- 600119” before 31st March 2012, with a copy of challan.

IMU-CET (MBA) score will be valid only for the admission to courses during the Academic Year2012-13.
