IBAB Bangalore, is a Public-Private initiative of Department of IT & BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka and ICICI Bank. The institute announces admissions for the Post Graduate Diploma course in (1) Bioinformatics (18 Months), (2) Cheminformatics (18 Months), (3) Biotechniques (8 or 14 Months) and (4) Advanced Diploma in Organic Synthesis (9 Months).

Eligibility for (1) Graduates/ Post Graduates from Life sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Agriculture and Veterinary. For (2), M. Sc in any branch of Chemistry, Bachelors/ Masters in Pharmacy, BE/ B. Tech in Chemical Engineering. For (3), M. Sc in Life Science, B. Tech, Biotech and MBBS. For (4) M. Sc in Organic Chemistry only.

Last date for receipt of filled forms: 30 August 2008

All-India entrance test: 14 September 2008

Examination Centres: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Courses Commencement: 15 November 2008.
