About BioSaarthi Global Mentoring Programme – DBT-BIRAC

BioSaarthi is a six-month cohort-based global mentorship initiative by DBT-BIRAC to support emerging biotech startups through personalized guidance from senior executives/CXOs with international experience. It facilitates structured mentor-mentee engagements to help ventures overcome challenges in product development and scaling.

Eligibility:

Startups/SMEs must have 51% or more Indian ownership, be at Proof-of-Concept stage (TRL 3 or higher), demonstrate minimum 9 months financial runway; desirably have granted patent/publication and minimum funding of ₹3.5 Cr (₹2 Cr from private sources); faculty entrepreneurs from BRIC institutes only. ​
