About FOSSEE – IIT Bombay – Semester Long Internship Program

The FOSSEE project, IIT Bombay invites applications for a semester-long internship for students studying covering all departments studying in Educational Institutions across India. To get shortlisted for the internship, the student has to select one of the projects (i.e.) on Scilab, OpenFoam, eSim, Arduino on cloud, R programming, OpenModelica, DWSIM, web development, common interface project, etc, as mentioned on the FOSSEE semester-long internship portal. Then, the student needs to complete at least one of the screening tasks. The details of the screening tasks will be sent to the applicants on their registered email id, after the last date of application. The selection will be purely based on the evaluation criteria of each screening task. The duration of the internship will range from three to four months.

The FOSSEE project, developed at IIT Bombay works on the promotion and development of Free/Libre and Open Source Software in Education and is funded by the National Mission on Education through ICT, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
