Call for Internship Applications 2021-22 for Centre for Trade Facilitation and Logistics(CTFL)

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a premier B-School set up by Government of India in 1963 engaged ineducation, training and research in the area of International Business. Centre for Trade Facilitation and Logistics (CTFL)is set up by at IIFT contributing towards the best practices in Trade Facilitation & Logistics and share them with the industry for adaptation and adoption. This center has been established by LOGISTICS DIVISONthe Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The center is deeply involved in research on various aspects in Logistics Landscape. This center also carry practical oriented applied research and desk based research on different issues pertaining to logistics.

The center intends to engage Interns for thisCentreat IIFT, NewDelhi. (Internship period Minimum 3 Months to maximum 6 Month), with a flexi option of 2 to 3 days of engagement and carrying part of the work from home also.

Eligibility:

B.Tech/B.A Hons./B.Sc/suitable graduation (any suitable branch of Engineering/ Law/Economics) and/or M.Tech/MBA/M.A can also apply. Candidates from other academic disciplines are also encouraged to apply provided they have a zeal to work towards the Logistics issues and opportunities in logistics sector.

Duration and Modalities:

In the spirit of providing a platform to large number of students from these backgrounds, CTFL has designed a “Flexi Internship Programme” to provide exposure in Trade, Logistics and Supply Chain Operations. It demands a full-time/ part-time commitment for at least threemonths to maximum of 6 months. The candidate will be required to carry out desk research, compile reports and assist for the ongoing research work& allied work at CTFL.

On successful completion of internship, CTFL will issue a Certificate of Internshipbased onindividual performance.

Honorarium will be paid to the interns during internship, depending on qualifications, experience and duration committed (Maximum INR 10,000/- PM). It is a rolling advertisement and selection will be on periodical basis, however for the first round of shortlistings, applicants must submit the CV through the link given below before 28/02/2021.
