About the Programme:

IIIT Kottayam, offers a summer internship programme for students with an objective to encourage aspiring bright students of different Institutes in India. The program is designed in such a way that the student will get a deep knowledge in the chosen area within the stipulated time. Duration of the programme is one month and likely to be extended for another month depending upon the work completed/guide recommendation. During the internship period, interns are to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of IIIT Kottayam faculties.

Eligibility Criteria:

The programme mainly focuses on undergraduate (B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc, BCA, etc.) and postgraduate (M.Tech, M.E., M.Sc, MCA, etc.) students in the fields of Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Mathematics.

How to Apply:

Please click on the “register for internship” button and enter the user details.After that the system will send a verification e-mail to your registered e-mail.Click on the link. It will automatically redirect to your login page. Login with your registered credentials

Selection will be made on the basis of academic record, aptitudefor research, accomplishments and area(s) of research interest.

Interns can provide the guide preference (kindly check the institute website for faculty research profile). It is also noted that the preferred guide allocation is subject to availability of the faculty.

Fee Structure:

All applicants have to pay Rs. 7,500/- as programme fee.

Hostel fee of Rs.1000/month (Shared accomodation) and mess fee extra at actuals.

Stipend from Institute : NIL

Award of Certificate:

Only those who satisfactorily complete the programme will be given the internship certificate.

Provision available for outstanding interns to continue research activities with institute faculties.

Last Date April 10, 2020

Intimation of Selected Candidates April 20, 2020

Program starts 1st week of May 2020
