About Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur Summer Internship

Every year the Department hosts a huge number of excellent quality interns during the summer (typically June/July). The interns are independently shortlisted by either one or a group of faculties. During their stay at IIT Kharagpur they are exposed to cutting edge research problems and trained in world-class technologies required to execute such projects. Many of these works finally metamorphose into high quality publications.

Once a student is offered an internship position by some faculty, the student becomes eligible for applying for a stipend that is graciously sponsored by Microsoft Research India. Every year as many as 40 students are awarded with this stipend.
