About Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) Summer School on “Research methodology”

Aimed to train young researchers on the basic concepts of research methodology which includes research design, sampling methods,
data collection and analysis, working principles and applications of instruments and manuscript writing.

Period of the Summer School March 7,2022 to March 20,2022

Nature of the Course:

The participants can apply them in their research programmes. The programme will be methodologies oriented and emphasises on demonstration of instruments, hands on training in biostatistics with SPSS statistical software and class room lectures. The participants will carry out the guided exercises individually or as a group. In addition, lectures from the experts/scientists will be organized on current trends in the selected area.

Eligibility

Research Scholars, Post-docs, Young Faculty Members and Scientists (from various disciplines of Life Sciences) of Indian Universities / Colleges/Research Institutes to apply for this Summer school.

Application and Selection Procedure

Interested candidates should fill in the ‘Registration form’ at https://forms.gle/gXZFNYpMbnMW34NT7 on or before 20.02.2022. The shortlisted candidates will be notified through email in the third week of February 2022. TA/DA and Accommodation

UGC – NRCBS (Phase II), MKU will Provide TA/DA and Accommodation for eligible outstation participants as per Madurai Kamaraj University regulations. Participants should produce a certificate stating that they are not provided with TA/DA from their Institute (Head of the Department /Institute) and the training period shall be considered as “On Duty” by the Institution.
