About NHAI Summer Internship 2026

NHAI Summer Internship Program (04th May 2026 – 05th July 2026)

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), after the successful pilot of its Winter Internship Program and the ongoing 6-month Internship program for Civil Engineering students, is pleased to launch its Summer Internship Program (04th May– 05th July 2026). Building on the strong response received earlier, the program is now being expanded to students across a wider range of disciplines such as management, law, mass communication, and other relevant fields from top tier colleges in India.

Object of the Internship

This objective of the program is to provide hands-on professional exposure to students by engaging them in real-world projects and institutional functions related to National Highway Development, digital systems, and public infrastructure delivery. The program seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices while creating a pipeline of future-ready talent for the infrastructure sector.

Eligibility Criteria :

Full-time undergraduate/ post graduate students (final year) enrolled in the following engineering/technology disciplines

(i) Civil Engineering
(ii) Information Technology
(iii) Computer Science and Engineering
(iv) Electronics and Communication Engineering
(v) Electrical Engineering
(vi) Instrumentation Engineering
(vii)Data Science/Artificial Intelligence and related disciplines
(viii)BA LLB/ Law
(ix) Mass Communication/Journalism
(x) MA in Organisation Behaviour & Psychology
(xi) MA in HR/ Industrial Relations & Personnel Management
(xii) MBA (HR / Finance / Marketing or equivalent)
(xiii)Mass Communication and related disciplines
(xiv) Library Science / Information Science and related disciplines
