ORGANIZED BY : CSIR- NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE COMMUNICATION AND POLICY RESEARCH (NIScPR), NEW DELHI

‘VRITIKA’ is a call for scientific initiation and practice through training and skill internship. Through this internship, the programme seeks to foster a strong interest in scientific and engineering research as well as providing technical insight into the field of science and engineering. Organizations, institutes, and laboratories of national significance will largely facilitate these internships

WHO CAN APPLY

Masters and PhD (Science Stream) students enrolled in any Indian University or Institution

OBJECTIVE

This Internship shall provide necessary knowledge on capacity building in biologics to meet health care services. Biologics are currently at the forefront of biomedical research. The whole programme has been planned under the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit kaal, Govt. of India to nurture Scientific Temper among budding students and groom them to acquire basic skills in cutting edge technologies to identify gaps in homegrown biologics.Thus, India is a leading example, which paves the way in transforming global pharmaceuticals.

CSIR-NIScPR, New Delhi

CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR), publishes 19 research journals and three Popular Science Magazines, apart from CSIR-News, CSIR-Samachar (Hindi), Discussion paper series and Policy bulletins. etc. The CSIR-NIScPR works on S&T policy and also conducts academic courses leading to PhD & MSc in S&T communication through AcSIR.

NATURE OF SUPPORT

Lodging, Food, Stationery, Travel (to & fro) requirments will be met free of cost as per SERB norms.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Academic achievement in university examinations (CGPA/percentage of marks)

• Participation in academic/co-curricular competitions and other awards/distinction

Note: Selected candidates will be notified through e-mail.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Selected candidates shall attend the program physically. Attendance (100%) is mandatory

• The interns should follow the institute’s rules and regulations strictly.

• Accommodation shall be provided depending on the availability of rooms at guest house.

• Interns will complete the assigned tasks and assignments timely.

• Submission of individual final report at the end of the tenure is mandatory.

• It would be appreciable if candidates bring their own laptops
