About Japanese Government MEXT Scholarships 2024 (Research Students)

The Government of Japan offers Government Scholarship to lndian students for the academic year 2023 under its Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT Scholarship Program for Research Studies.

The last dats of submitting the application form for the Scholarship to the Embassy of Japan, lndia, is 15th May 2023. Detailed  information on the scholarship programme and application process is available at web page of the Embassy of Japan in lndia, New Delhi, at their following link:

The Ministry of Education has no role in nomination/ selection of candidates. The public notice is being put for wider dissemination of information. lntorested applicants are also informed that there is no need to send copy of the application to Ministry of Education.
