About Japanese Government Scholarships for School Education Teachers 2020

The Government of Japan / Embassy of Japan has invited nominations to offer upto 15 Teacher Training Scholarships to Indian school teachers under Japanese Governement Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2020. The scholarship aims to recruit aspiring primary to senior secondary school teachers of India to conduct research on Japanese education system for a period of 18 months starting from October 2020. An allowance of 143,000 yen per month etc. will be given to the teachers selected for the scholarships. The detailed applications guidelines alongwith the application form are enclosed herewith.

* It is requested that the list of nominated candidates along with application forms annexure and supporting documents may be sent to this Ministry latest by 10th January 2020 as per following:

*  The individual research proposals of 55 nominated candidates will also be required to be sent through email as pdf attachments file at: vinavak.likhar(at)nic.in.

*  The candidate will be selected by an evaluation process based on their research proposal, interview and written test schedules to be held on 1st February 2020 in Delhi.

*  The finally selected teachers will required to be relived from the individual schools for 18 months duration of the scholarship program in japan.
