Kalakshetra Foundation – Admission Notification (An Institution of National Importance declared by an Act of Parliament)

Kalakshetra offers full time four year diploma course in Bharatanatyam / Carnatic Music / Mridangam / Visual Arts. Students who have passed plus two or its equivalent examination can apply. Age limit – 17 to 25 years. The course fee per year will be approximately Rs. 15,000/-. Vegetarian dormitory type hostel for all the students is available on request and the hostel fees is approximately Rs.32,000/-per year.

We also run short term courses in Painting, Pottery, Vistual Arts and Textile Design ranging from 1 month to 1 year.

Application forms can either be downloaded from our website: www.kalakshetra.in or can be had from our office on payment of Rs.110/-.

Last date for receipt of application is 31-05-2010.

Dates of interview for all the courses: 9th & 10th June 2010.
