National Law School Of Indian University Entrance Test Admissions To Five year BA.LLB.Hons and LLM Courses 2006-2007

The National Law School of India University(NLSIU), Bangalore, has invited application for admission to the five year BA.LLB (Hons) and LLM for the academic year 2006-07. NLSIU is the premier residential law university in the country. The five year BA LLB (Hons) degree programme prepares students for the Bar and other careers inlaw. Entry qualification is 10+2 equivalent examination with not less than 50 percent marks. Students taking the qualifying examination in March/April 2006 are also eligible to apply. Age limit is below 20 years as on July1, 2006 . The upper age limits is 22 years of SC/ST students.

The intake is 80 seats with reservation of 15 percent for SC and 7.5 per cent for ST students. Financial assistance / fee waiver/ scholarship are available for deserving students.

Students appering for final qualifying degree examination are also eligible to apply.

Admissions for the programmes are based on the national-level admission test to be held on may 7, 2006 . For application and prospectus, write to the Registrar, NLSIU, Nagarbhavi, Post Bag No.7201, Bangalore – 560 072 giving full address with pin code and the name of course for which the application is required with a bank draft for Rs.1,000 drawn in favour of the Registrar. Application forms will be issued from January 9 onwards.
