Special Education for Inclusive Growth

IGNOU in collaboration with Rehabilitation Council of India announces admission for B.Ed (Special Education) through distance mode in the area of Hearing Impairment, Mental Retardation and Visual Impairment from July 2009 session. Duration of the Programme: Two Years Eligibility: The applicant should: (i) (a) Have a Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC recognized University, and (b) Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a special school environment in any disability area after his/her graduation (ii) Wetghtage will be given to the candidates fulfilling any one of the following conditions: (a) be a parent of a child with disability (b) be a person with disability (c) possess a RCI recognized Diploma in Special Education (d) have undergone bridge course of RC! (e) have competed RCI recognized foundation course. Fee: Rs. 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) Availability of prospectus: 1st August, 2009 -31 “August, 2009 The Student Handbook and Prospectus can be obtained from regional centres, study centres and IGMOU main campus at Maidan Garhi (please see address from IGNOU website) by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi or by paying Rs. 500/- in cash at the respective sale counters.
